Public Post for New Members and Old

Today, Musemuggers was fortunate to be spotlighted on LJ's homepage. This generated an enormous amount of interest in our community, for which we should be glad. Thus far today, we've received over two dozen requests for new membership. Since I was behind on my December first moderating duties and had a little bit of time, I processed those that could be processed. That means the following:

Musemuggers grew by a very large nine members today. Please welcome them as you see them around.

All pending new memberships will not be processed until January 2012.

All potential new members must click to "join this community" AND comment to the interest thread linked on our profile page. I will not process new memberships where an individual has only commented with interest or clicked to join. I am unable to do so in the first case and won't in the second. Please read the entire profile page if you are interested in joining this community.

To all new and old members alike: Please remember you are required to post a minimum of one 100-word story or poem each month to maintain your membership. I have not reviewed for November yet but will be doing so this week. With our membership increasing, we will all need to do our parts to maintain this healthy, vibrant writing community.

Thanks,
Stephanie
